We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2019, Bernice Elizabeth (Anderson) Oakes (Anacortes, Washington) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Anderson and John Anderson; her sister Marjorie; and her friend Tommy. She is survived by : her brothers, Andy, Dick and Leonard 'Fritz'; her children, Mike (Audrey), Robie (Lewis), Sue (Richard) and Doug; her sisters, Lois and Joyce; and her stepchildren, Marty, Leslie (Ken) and Tom (Cheryl). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In memory of Bernice, memorials to the SWHS Alumni Association or a charity of your choice are suggested.
