She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Cowan and Rhea Cowan; her sister Alice Bowhay of Dayton, WA; her children, Linda TerWisscha (Ray) of Sumas, Shirley Gebhardt (Robert) of Blaine and Jerry Bowhay (Jill) of Ferndale; her husband Gerald Bowhay; and her son John Bowhay. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
