Mary Doherty Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2021, at the age of 89, Mary Doherty of Buckley, Washington, born in Tacoma, Washington passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Doherty to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael Grummel and Mary Grummel; her daughter Maureen Serna (Scott Serna); and her brother Dr. Roger Grummel. She is survived by : her husband Dr. John Doherty of Buckley; her sister Marlene DeSordi of Tacoma; her children, Theresa Doherty (Joseph Peterson), Timothy Doherty Mary K. (Mary Beth Doherty) and Michael Doherty; her grandchildren, Danny, Tony Serna, Sean, Jake Peterson, Oona, Lizzy Sutherland, Emma, Ronan, Calum, Stella Doherty, Jade, Jude and Jewell Santos; and her great grandchildren, Jaxson and Noah Peterson. She is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Doherty Scholarship fund at White River High School.
