He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dodson and Genevieve Dodson (Dunning); his former wife Catherine Tyrrell Dodson (Kay); and his cousin Bill Dunning. He is survived by: his wife Kay Tyrrell; his daughters, Catherine "Cathi" Dodson, Susan "Sue" Zender (Mark), Margaret "Margi" Dodson, Theresa "Teri" Judkins (Mike) and Jennifer "Jenni" Stowell (Brendan); and his grandchildren, Daniel Zender, Catherine "Kate" Zender, Matthew Zender (Kristy), Nathan Judkins, Brian Judkins (Elyse), Rachel Lopez Stowell (Nico) and Abigail Stowell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Weeks' Enumclaw Funeral Home (451 Cemetery Rd, Buckley, WA 98321). A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1614 Farrelly St, Enumclaw, WA 98022). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Holy Family Krain.
