She is survived by: her former husband Loyd L. Ekstrand; her children, Cheryl Ekstrand-Messick, Loyd Michael Ekstrand (Debbie) and Victor Shaul (Karen); her grandchildren, Shelly Morris-Spangler, Christopher Morris, Jeffrey Messick, Stacie Messick-Frank, Sean Ekstrand, Danny Ekstrand, Matthew Shaul and Danielle Shaul; and her sister Barbara Blankenship of Naches, WA.. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
