He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Bernice Schlaegel; his brother Ralph Runion; his children, Ruth Millar (Scott) of Urbana, IL, Stephen (Tina) of Portland, OR, Daniel of Minneapolis, MN and Sarah Magnuson (Todd); and his parents, Fred Runion and Evalena Carter. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
