He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kathryn Dezellem Shelton and Richard Elmer Shelton; his wife Kathy (Hansen); his sister Linda Talbot (Tim); his stepchildren, Andrew (Angela), B. J. (Jesi) and Naomi van Leeuwen (Adam Clark); his sibling's children, Erin Darrah (Shane) and Jason Talbot; his great-nieces, Reese Talbot and Katelyn Darrah; his great-nephew Nick Talbot; and his grandchildren, Ophelia, Prudence, Cassius, Parker and Kennedy.
