He is survived by: his mother Helen Mae Helt (Weitz); his sister Jane Helt Veter (Dennis); his nephew Matt Veter; his sister Susie Helt Heglar (Paul); his niece Allison Sherwood (Rick); and also Jeanette Solimine.
