He is survived by: his uncle Luther Wise; his wife Colfax; his children, Tim Stroup (Carolyn) of Iowa, Paul Stroup (Kathy) of Illinois, Karine Klempel (Reuel) of Quincy, Joseph Stroup (Chrystal) of Spokane and Robert Stroup of Pullman; and his sister Diane Stroup Specter of California. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
