He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Albert and Minnie Fredrika Sphuler (Bockhaus); his wife Pat; his sons, Jeff, Mike, Dave and Scott; and his sisters, Elizabeth Breeden and Dorothy Sphuler.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Sphuler of Colville, WA and Jack Sphuler (Alisa) of Evans, WA. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to any charity or foundation working towards the research and cure of cancer.
