He was predeceased by: his parent Burchard Rutherford Steffen Sr. Dutch; his wife Nancy Steffen; and his mother Mabel Steffen (Calhoun). He is survived by: his significant other Nancy McKay; his children, Bonnie Thomson, Kathy Keyes, Renee Barnes, Kim Randolph, Greta Lynch and Tim Steffen Sr.; and his siblings, Christine Collins and Leon Steffen. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
