He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry James "HJ" and Lena Liberty Brown (Ward); his wife Dorothy; his brothers, Virgil Brown and Clifford Brown; and his grandson Jeremy Chase.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Hillard (Robert), Mona Brown (Dan Stanaway), Dawna Chase (Stanton) and Jack Brown Jr. (Tammie); and his sisters, Darlene Brown and Sharon Munson-Brown. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
