It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Kunkel (East Wenatchee, Washington), born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on April 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Aloysius and Katherine Magdalena Duane (Hoeppner); her husband Leo Kunkel; her stepson Patrick; and her great grandchild Raven Drollman.
She is survived by: Kunkel. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Katherine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1947, sang in the choir until 1981, and attended daily Mass for decades and kept her weekly Adoration Hour from 1990 until COVID-19.
