He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clesson and Esther Mae Shales; and his wife Audrey Noreen Ahl (Mason). He is survived by: his son Jeff; his family Mason; his sons, Todd Shales of Wenatchee, WA, Tim Shales of Wenatchee, WA and Jeffery Shales of Spokane, WA; and his grandsons, Brett Shales (Nicole) and Tyler Shales. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
