He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Hjort and Mary Hjort; his brother George; and his grandson Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Joyce Brown; his sons, Eric (Michelle), Chris, Kurt (Silvania) and Dane; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Daniel, Evan and Kelly.
Due to Covid and limited restrictions, a private funeral service will be held.
