With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tylene Carnell (Ellensburg, Washington), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid Tylene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Tylene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father Gerry Carnell. She is survived by: her mother Joy Carnell (Mamacita'Sonja Carnell) of Meridian; her daughter Jessi (Jessi); her grandson Graycen; and her siblings, Dawn (Dee) of Portland, Connie Hancock of Meridian, Mark, Cindy and Kurt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Ellensburg United Methodist Church (210 N Ruby St, Ellensburg, WA 98926).
In 2016, Tylene joined the Pride Foundation of Seattle as a Regional Development Organizer, a role that took her throughout Washington and the Pacific Northwest until 2021.
