He was predeceased by: his adoptive mother Diane Gryseels; and his daughter Elizabeth "Lizzie" Grace Nguyen. He is survived by: his mothers, Diane Gryseels and Mau Than Nguyen Van; his wife Phuc An Nguyen; and his daughter Bethany Nguyen. He is also survived by one brother and three sisters.
