He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar Beck and Ruth Beck (Ackerman); and his daughter Ann Beck. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Michael Beck of Everett; his brother Kenneth "Skip" Beck of Clarkston, WA; and his nephew David Beck of Rathdrum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran.
