He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Van and Edna Van; his former wife Margaret Einfeld; his brother-in-law Lloyd Voshel; and his sister Neysa Voshel.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Van; his sons, Robert Van and Harvey Van (Kathy); his grandchildren, Warren Van, Charles Van, Jennifer Albackten (Ethan), Michael Van (Jennifer) and Suzanne Billings (Josh); his great grandchildren, Carleigh Van, Brody Van, Hudson Albackten, Lily Billings and Elliot Albackten; his stepsons, David Geerdes (Beverly) and Eric Geerdes (Tricia); and his stepgrandchildren, Katie Linderman (Aaron), Sarah Geerdes, Philip Geerdes, Richard Geerdes (Valerie), Lisa DeBlauw (Garret), Emma DeBlauw and Theo DeBlauw.
Donations may be made to the new Building Fund for the Marysville Cascade Christian Church where the Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday May 24, 2018.
