He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, James Hegen (Margot) and Carrie Hegen; his grandchildren, Carlyn Hegen, Nick Hegenbarth, Susanna Fuller, Ester Carlin, Landon Potts (Hegenbarth) and Benjamin Fuller; and his brother Tom Carlin (Carlene).
