She was predeceased by: her parents, Levine Braathen and Freda Braathen; her husband Roger Steele; her siblings, Marion Zylstra Miller and David Braathen; and her parents-in-law, Chuck, Louise Steele, Bill, Esther Steele, Alice, Paul Furman, Jean and Omar Porter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Jenkins (Harry), Jeanie Piontek (George), Diana Gadek (Jerry), Lori Jackson (Dave) and Linda Steele; and her grandchildren, Chantil Jenkins, Nicole O'Brien (Lucas), Quinn Piontek, Lisa Piontek, Jessica Frank (Jon Pelland), Jason Gadek (Danielle), Amanda Thompson (Mike), David Tegano, Melissa Mather (Sam Sorden), Ryan Fitzke and Reagan Fitzke.
