He is survived by: his wife Leola; his daughter Wendy Metz (Herb); his grandchildren, Kristi Fortner (Erik), Rachael Gardner (Jeff), Laura Metz and David Metz (Keri); his child Lonnie Post (Margaret); his grandsons, Christopher, Ian and Michael Post; his child Moira Schettler (Jim); his grandchildren, Joshua Schettler (Chloé), Mark Schettler, Melissa Schettler and Daniel Schettler (Karina); his son Darren Post (Kris); his grandsons, Seth and Kevin Post (Lola); his great grandchildren, Tiffany and Shelby Post; and his sister Leslie Root of Fairfield, CT.. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Shepherd of the Hills Benevolence Fund.
