He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Willits and Ilene Willits; and his brother Tom (Wanda). He is survived by: his spouse Wanda Hahn; his children, Dwayne, Brian and Shellie; and his brothers, Rick and Ron. He is also survived by six grandchildren (a seventh is on the way), and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like friends to make a donation in his honor to the Diabetes Action Research and Education Foundation.
