It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Mercedes Geleynse of Ferndale, Washington, born in Bellingham, Washington, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Clyde Eaton (Ferndale) and Gertrude Eaton; her husband Bruce Geleynse; her children, Jill, Jeff, Jan and Bruce; and her grandchildren, Brad, Lori Geleynse, Michelle Dortch (Jason) and Amy Palmby (Rick).
