He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Saddler, Sr. and Doris Bagal (Laxton); his wife Virginia Saddler (Ginger) of Granite Falls; and his children, Dee, Doris Cummings (Kelvin), Ken Saddler (Celina), Donita Scott (Jeff), Tanya Jackson and Tim Jackson. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to: Disabled Veterans Association, Cancer Research, Humane Society, St. Jude's Cancer Research, or Alzheimer's Research.
