He was predeceased by : his parents, Philip William and Nellie Rhoads King; and his siblings, William P. King, Bonnie Kops, Charlotte Wright and Edwin L King.

He is survived by : his wife Jacqualyn; his children, Steven King (Maru), Linda Hemry (David) and Trudy Rader (John); his brother Dick Atkins; and his cousins, Dale King, Carol Schaper, Chester King and Curt King. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
