He is survived by : his wife Nancy; his sons, Frank and Tom (Annie); his grandchildren, Ryan and Kenny; his stepchildren, Steve Karam, Linda Schiller (Evan) and Susan Smith (David); and his stepgrandchildren, Matthew, Quinn, Logan, Noah and Cole.

The coronavirus pandemic hit at a bad time for Frans.
