She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Thompson and Alvina Thompson; her son Donald Eric; her brother Ralph; her sister-in-law Arlene Thompson; her sister Doris; her brother-in-law Glen Hendrickson; her sister Nora; her brother-in-law Don Bracken; and her granddaughter Lexi Gladsjo.

She is survived by : her children, Kathy Dunne, Mark Hallstrom (Nell Engel), Wendy Spear (Gregg) and Joyce Hibma (Carl); and her grandchildren, Jamie Gogocha (Jason), Erin Barnum, Renee Spear and Brandon Spear. She is also survived by one nephew, many nieces, and her close friends.
