He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Winfield Carr and Lydia Schuman; his brother Little Donny; his son Little Harvey; and his nephew David.

He is survived by: his wife Phronsie (Pasco); and his children, Tina M. Miller (Carr) and Richard Allen Carr (Pasco).
