With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlys Victoria Martin of Kirkland, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Marlys Victoria may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Art Martin; her parents, Josephine James and Earl James; and her son John Patrick. She is survived by: her children, Arthur (Marilyn) of Texas, Kenneth of Washington, Richard (Catherine) of Washington, LuAnn Corcoran (Mike) of Washington, Mark (Linda) of Washington and Donna of Washington. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 25, great grandchildren that she enjoyed, as well as one great great grandchild.
This, was her mother Josephine's favorite charity and when her mom died Marlys continued to support it for, the next 54 years!
