He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Maurer and Ida Maurer (Robinson). He is survived by : his children, Christopher Maurer (Robin), Jennifer Shinn (Paul) and Heather Maurer; his siblings, Nancy Verkist (Charles), Sally Nichols, Patsy Johnson (Bill), Tammy Deacy (Neil) and Paul Maurer (Lisa); and also June. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
