In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Maria had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Maria may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Timoteo Mercado and Basilisa Mercado. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Holland; and her siblings, Nilda Rivera, Tim Mercado and Raymond Mercado.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Tahoma National Cemetery (18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042).
