She was predeceased by : her parents, Nick DeVries and Winnie DeVries (Douma); her husband Howard "Squeak" Koetje; her son John Daryl; her sister Jessie Vander Mey; her brother-in-law Glenn Terpstra; and her parents-in-law, Ron Koetje (Evelyn), Neal Koetje (Leona), Alvin Koetje (Joan), Beverly Sterk (Martin) and Norma Stenevich.
She is survived by : her children, Barbara Zylstra (Joe), Cheryl Hendricks (Dale) and Galen Koetje (Tami); her grandchildren, Julie VanderVelden, Janna Libolt (Brian), Tim Koetje (Sara), Trisha Van Beek (Kevin), Becky Bos (Tyler), Tara Muggerud and Tracee Van Ry; her siblings, Scott DeVries (Ann), Helen Postma (Les), Marilyn Terpstra and Norma Johnson (Jerry); and her siblings-in-law, Ted Vander Mey, Jerry Stenevich and Joanne Vander Yacht (Gaylon). She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
