It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hermina Debruin of Lynden, Washington, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Willem Kooiman and Jennigjen Kooiman (Hubers); her husband John Peter DeBruin; her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Kathy; her grandsons, Graham and Nicholas; her sisters, Gertrude and Cornelia; and her stepsiblings, Dennis, James, Ronald, William and Elaine.
She is survived by : her children, Pete DeBruin (Bonnie) of Whatcom County, Dave DeBruin (Shelly) of Whatcom County, Roger DeBruin (Diane) of Whatcom County, Jerry DeBruin (Georgia) of Whatcom County, Bill DeBruin (Catherine) and Jane Hyatt (Larry) of Arizona; her sister Jennie; her stepsister Evelyn; and her sisters-in-law, Helene, Marlys, Arlene and Rhonda. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
