She was predeceased by: her parents, Sipke Folkertsma and Gerritje Folkertsma; her husband Fred Fekkes; and her sons, Frank and Sid.
She is survived by: her children, Gertie Juergens (Jerry), John Fekkes (Joan) of Everson and Bill Fekkes (Bobbie) of Ephrata; and her sisters, Hilda Knevelbaard of California, Delia Boschma (Hessel) and Hittie Huitema. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
