Leonard Birdwell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Birdwell of Onalaska, Washington, born in Natural Dam, Arkansas, who passed away on December 3, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Dee Birdwell and Jessie Mae Birdwell (Brown); his wife Sherild Ann Birdwell; his siblings, Rachel Snodgrass, Lilly Waider, Patricia Owens and Glenn Birdwell; and his granddaughter Kinzy Marie Birdwell.
He is survived by: his brother Arthur; his children, Melinda West (Paul) of Coos Bay, Ore., Don Birdwell of Glendive, Dale Birdwell (Vicky) of Onalaska and Denise Birdwell of Monmouth, Ore.; his brother David Birdwell (Adele) of Florence; and his grandchildren, Tawndi Hemion (Jason), Kelly West (Sheldon), Nick West (Heather), Tyrel Birdwell (Michelle), Kayla McBee (Greg), Autumn O'Sullivan, Shana Hunter (Greg), Jaimee Osborn (Greg), Cody Birdwell and Tanner Birdwell. He is also survived by 16 Great Grandchildren.
Given the current stipulations under COVID, and at Leonard's request, the family will not have a service at this time.
Donations will go toward his burial costs and medical bills.
