It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Ernest Ames of Pomeroy, Washington, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernie Ames and Gen Ames; and his brother Fred Ames. He is survived by : his wife Rose; his children, Shannon Billigmeier (Travis) of Cheney, WA and Shane Ames (Jwanita) of Spokane Valley; and his grandchildren, Sidney and Madison Billigmeier. He is also survived by 3 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren.

Cremation will be handled by Hennessey Valley Funeral Home and a memorial will be planned at a later date due to the current coronavirus situation.
