He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Richard Grimsley and Karen Grimsley; his wife Joan Grimsley; his children, Tyler Grimsley (Rikki Grimsley) and Tarren Grimsley; and his siblings, Craig Ranta (Krista Ranta), Marci Grimsley (Janet Jaeger) and Rick Grimsley.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Port Angeles Elks Naval Lodge (131 E 1st St, Port Angeles, WA 98362).
