He is survived by: his parents, Richard "Rick" Sr. Mate and Mary Mate (Reckus); his wife Misty; his brothers, Joseph (Heather) and Christopher Mate (Kerrianne); his children, Ravon Mate (Jacey) and Alisha Trainor (Jonathan); his nephew Logan Mate; and his granddaughter Leila Trainor.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Chapel (105 W 4th St, Port Angeles, WA 98362).
