He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul George Thompson and Carole Mae Bonrud; his siblings, Maureen Robillard and Mike Thompson; and his nephews, Drew Williams and Luke Posadas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Williams, Susie Christenson (Rob), Ann Parkey (Rich), Colleen Posadas (Joe), Chris Thompson, Tom Thompson and Greg Thompson; his son-in-law Ryan; his grandchildren, Colson Timothy and Charlie June; and his child Allie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Gaffney Funeral Home (1002 S Yakima Ave, Tacoma, WA 98405). A Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pope St. John Xxiii Catholic Church (7015 Park Ave. S, Tacoma, WA 98408). A committal service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (5212 70th St W, Tacoma, WA 98467).
