He is survived by: his parents, Robert Engen and Joan Van Engen (Sjaarda); his children, Victoria Van Engen of Everett, WA. and Cedar Van Engen of Everett, WA; his siblings, Jered Van Engen (Jill) of Marion, IA and Robbi Bishop (Jake) of Kearney, MO; and his siblings' children, Tyler Sharkey, Spencer Hutchinson, Eli Van Engen, Kaitlyn Bishop and Brooklyn Bishop. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
