David Marc Dallaire Obituary
It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of David Marc Dallaire on August 31 of 2025.
David was born in Richland Washington in September 1954 to wonderful parents Mr. and Mrs. John B. Dallaire. He was the youngest of their three children, Marsha, Peter and David. The Dallaire family was positively active in the Richland community. All of their three children thrived and David was a bright student. He was a pitcher on his little league team and always mastered any endeavor he took on throughout his life.
As a teen, he discovered his love for music. His beloved dad John made sure that his son 's gift would soar by supporting him with music lessons and gifting David with his first bass guitar. David could play any musical instrument put in his hands. He chose the bass guitar and joined with other young musicians: drummers guitar players, and vocalists who would play with him in rock 'n' roll bands. David went full force into four main bands throughout his professional career. They played throughout the Pacific Northwest and into Canada bringing themselves high earnings. During this time, he met Kimberlee who fully supported his career and they married when he was 26 and she was 21. She worked a good job and watched over his household, being proud and grateful of his musical journey.
Road life for David as a rock 'n' roll musician was good and ran its course. It was a special experience and dream come true for David. When his last band, Sardakar, split up, he came home to stay and took note of his wife's relationship with God. He suggested that they join Saint Joseph's Catholic Parish in Kennewick and soon became the maintenance man of thechurch from 1989 to 2019. He loved the people and performed amazing work there.
David transitioned his work to Home Depot and loved pretty much everything about it including his fellow associates. He often expressed to Kimberlee how blessed he was there and what a good life he has lived so far. David loved nature and animals. He had two beautiful pet cats Smoky and Todd, who lived with him (and he spoiled a little bit, but not too much) for many years before they passed before him.
Sadly for us and unexpectedly we have lost him to the Angelic Realm of the Holy Heavens to be with his Savior Christ Jesus. He leaves behind his best friend and wife Kimberlee and his only son Joel, who he loved so very much, his dear brother-in-law, Kerry, and sister-in-law Trina, his niece Lacee, nephew Dakota, nephew Sean, nephew Chad, nephew Ross, nephew Max, nephew Seth, and many, many friends who graced his life with their love.
Eternal glory in the highest heavens, and God's peace be with you, David!David's life philosophy was relayed to his son Joel in saying " Do good where you can."We his family are putting together a Celebration of Life for David in Richland, where he grew up. It will be held from noon until 4 PM on the far north end of Leslie Groves Park near the Snyder Boat Launch right off of George Washington Way where Snyder St meets the river. All who loved him will be welcomed. It will be held on September 20, 2025.
