He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sparks and Dorothy Sparks; his former wife Jessie Sparks; his brother Lloyd Sparks; and his granddaughter Jami Bean.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sparks; his siblings, Jerene Shenefelt, Reva Eisenbarth, Joyce Smith and Dwain Sparks; and his children, Josie Bean, Hollie Halliday (Kevin), Patty Robbins (Scott), Dawn Sparks (Frank Fick), Kenneth Sparks (Michelle), Linious Sparks (Tricia), Shari Johnson (Chris), Jules Summers and Wayne Summers. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
