He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Hoing and William Hoing; his son David Hoing of Seattle, WA; and his brothers, Neil and Nellis Hoing.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hoing; his siblings, James Hoing and Margie O'Brien; and his children, Karla (Jerry Scott), Kathy (Mitch Mathews), Brenda (Howard Schuller), Barb Hoing of Wenatchee, WA, Jerri (Bryan Mickle) and Amy Hoing of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
