She was predeceased by : her parents, Cornelio Mijares and Concordia Talavera Mijares. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Jalen (Angelica Bungay), Isaiah Bungay and Dominique Bungay.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home (11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133). A rosary was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (2807 15th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144).
