Joseph Michael Burke Obituary

Joseph Michael Burke died May 5th, 2022, from complications of Pancreatic Cancer. He was 85. Joe considered himself a lifelong resident of Seattle. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, J.R. and Florence Burke, Carol, his wife of 46 years, and brother Gerry. He is survived by his sister Suzie Burke, Sons Michael (Kimberly) and Robert Burke, Grandchildren: Ryan (Alyce), Carolyn and Kyle Burke, Great grandchildren: Jacob and Jackson Burke, many nieces, and nephews as well as numerous friends. Joe also leaves behind his beloved partner, Tooley Woods-Hamilton, her family, and many friends. Joe graduated from Seattle Prep in 1955. He went on to study at Seattle University and then joined the United States Navy. Joe was a Commercial Real Estate Broker in the greater Seattle area and was involved with multiple civic organizations such as The Lions, Elks, and Eagles. He enjoyed fundraising for these organizations and participating in the communities they served.
