He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Mykel; his wife Alice Mykel (Bliss); his son Reid Mykel; his grandchildren, Steven Ronald Mayhue and Sydney Elise Mayhue; his father Stephen Mykel, Jr.; his brother Mark Mykel (Nancy); his nieces, Angie, Christy and Stephenie; his sister Melody Caney (David); his niece Lindsay; his nephew Jayson; his brother-in-law Jim Bliss (Joanne); and his niece Jessica.

Attendance is limited to family and close friends due to COVID.
