She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Hovland and Sarah Hovland (Severson). She is survived by : her husband Luther Spalding; her daughters, Vicki Kay Spalding of Tacoma and Carolyn Catlin of Olympia; her grandson Eric Becklund of Tacoma; her sister Arlene Tollefson of Montevideo, MN; her sisters-in-law, Marie Hovland of Mesa, AZ and Jan Hovland of Montevideo, MN; and her goddaughter Becky Larson of Phoenix, AZ.
