He is survived by: his parent-in-law Benancio Cantu; his wife Mariana Mendez; his children, Dora (Vernon) of New Mexico, Alicia (Ernie) of Sunnyside, Tom (Lupe) of Sunnyside, Alejandro of Sunnyside, David (Blanca) of Sunnyside, Bert (Vickie) of Mabton, Carlos of Benton City and Joe (Jenny) of Prosser; and his sister Juanita Salgado of Texas. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
