Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bernard Haak (Sunnyside, Washington), born in Hospers, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 89, on December 13, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelia Haak (Vegter) and Henry Haak; and his siblings, John VanHill, Clarence, Arie, William, Henrietta and Theresa.

He is survived by: his former wife Katheryn Anne Keyzer; his wife Anne Haak; his children, Dale, Nell of Richmond Virgina, Connie, Tony Hillerman, Bernie Lee, Donald, Evangeline, James, Karen, Paul and Colleen; his siblings, Henry, Karen, Jo An, Corinne and Nelvin Volgel; and his sister-in-law Etheleen Haak. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Donations in Bernie's name can be made to The Gideons International or to Sunnyside Christian School.
